THE PARENTAL INTELLIGENCE REPORT ON ‘ADHD’
by Bob Collier

The debate over attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and the drugging of children diagnosed with ADHD has been rekindled in Australia, one of several countries to have followed the U.S. ADHD trend over recent decades. Bob Collier - author, ADHD report

"A youth conference in the eastern city of Brisbane this week was told that no proof has been found that ADHD exists at all.”

In November 2002, I happened to read an article in The Canberra Times concerning a huge increase in recent years in the use of psychiatric drugs on children who are apparently afflicted with a brain disease called ‘Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder’, or ‘ADHD’.

You can read the original report from which that newspaper article was derived at the Medical Journal of Australia in this ADHD medication report.

Living in a world of my own, as I do, it was the first time I’d ever heard of ‘ADHD’.

Even though I’ve been a parent for 18 years. And more than half of those years, a full-time stay-at-home dad who has observed hundreds of children at close range on a regular basis - at toddler groups and playgroups, in preschools, primary schools and high schools, in public and social situations and in my own home.

In all this time, I’ve never encountered a single child whose behaviour has suggested to me that they could have a brain disease called ‘ADHD’.

To this day, I’ve never met an ‘ADHD’ child. I am often asked 'Does ADHD exist?' - here's my response.

Yet, here are the statistics in black and white in the same CNS News report...
